SuperSensor SDK, fully developed in-house by Fusionride, a DGP Member
D-Robotics provides FusionRide with comprehensive SDK and ecosystem support, including hardware and software.
Founded in 2021, Fusionride is built on the fusion concept, committed to delivering the all-round perception solution in the era of artificial intelligence. With R&D centers running in Shanghai, London, and Munich, Fusionride focuses on continuous innovation and real-world application of cutting-edge sensor and its fusion technologies. Their products includes core sensing sensors (centered around 4D radar) and low level fusion algorithms, enabling safer, more efficient, and human-centric perception system for the future.
In the automotive field, the company has established stable partnerships with customers by delivering advanced perception system solutions, while also collaborating with Global Tier-1 suppliers for joint development and IP licensing. By offering radar solutions, Fusionride facilitates collaborations with leading clients and consistently increasing market share. In non-automotive fields for two-wheelers, robotics, and etc., the company drives rapid iterations of innovation on the perception software, starting with the core product to rapidly expand into domestic and international markets.
SuperSensor SDK, fully developed in-house by Fusionride, features a "4D millimeter-wave radar + camera + SoC" enclosure, integrated with the Deep Fusion algorithm, achieving lidar-comparable performance with pixel-level (millions of points) single-frame point cloud density and long range 3D detection with extremely low AI computing requirements.
The solution delivers a working accuracy with <5% up to 1m and <8% up to 10m distances , a wide 102° (horizontal) × 67° (vertical) field of view, and a high-resolution output at 640 × 360 pixels in 10 Hz. Designed for extreme environments, it operates reliably across a broad temperature range from -30°C to 85°C, ensuring all-weather, all-scenario reliability for all targets.
To overcome the limitations of traditional 3D perception solutions (such as stereo cameras, structured light, and iToF) in environmental adaptability (e.g., glare, low light, extreme weather) and all-weather operation, Fusionride has developed a SuperSensor SDK that integrates millimeter-wave radar and cameras, based on D-Robotics’ RDK X5 platform. This cost-effective solution enables efficient operation in all-weather conditions. This solution is designed for unmanned vehicles, lawn robots, and other applications. It can generate dense point clouds and environmental semantic information, efficiently achieving obstacle detection, drivable area segmentation, and other functions. It ensures reliable perception in all weather, all scenarios, and all targets.
Million-level point cloud density & long range 3D detection
Enabled by millimeter-wave radar + vision Deep Fusion algorithm, leveraging RDK X5’s 10 TOPS computing power to achieve an output with millions of points in a single frame, capable of generating high-precision Occupancy Grid, with a detection range in excess of 100 meters and industry-leading spatial perception accuracy.
All-weather, all-scenario safety assurance
Supports -30°C to 65°C wide-temperature operation. Utilizes multi-modal anti-interference algorithms to effectively handle glare, low light, and extreme weather. Millimeter-wave radar compensates for visual blind spots, ensuring continuous and stable detection in all scenarios.
Integrated solution & optimum cost-performance ratio
Eliminates dependence on lidar. Achieves multi-sensor fusion perception and decision-making on the RDK X5 platform, serving as a "robot brain" to support more intelligent algorithm development. Delivers the optimal balance of performance and cost.
Modular integration & low deployment cost
Provides plug-and-play SDK, offering outputs such as generic obstacle detection and target recognition in multiple formats. Supports seamless integration, enabling smooth adaptation to downstream applications to meet demands in diverse scenarios such as AGVs and service robots.
